FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We want your experience at Las Residencias to be the best, so we seek to clear up
any questions you may have in advance. These are some of the most frequent.
What is Las Residencias?
It is a place for rest and recreation where Elders will have a high quality of life.
Is this a regular retirement home?
Not at all. It is a retirement home for Elders with amenities, facilities and activities that make the stay of our residents a great experience. We also have and apply a unique philosophy seldom found elsewhere.
What is the difference between a regular retirement home and us?
The difference lies in the quality of life we offer residents and the freedom they have to engage in the activities they choose in a motivating environment that allows them to grow. The philosophy of Las Residencias, for those who are willing to adopt it, will imply a drive towards happiness and self-improvement. Perhaps we should have categorized ourselves as a permanent summer camp for Elders.

In the Jardines de Tlaltenango neighborhood, in the heart of Cuernavaca, Morelos, city of eternal spring.
Can my grandparents live there?
Of course. The community has been developed for people like them.

Do you care for people with conditions of mental impairment?
No. These require special care and must be attended to by a specialized care facility.
Do you have an alarm system in case there is an accident or emergency?
Absolutely. We require all our residents to purchase an iWatch on or before arrival. This has several security features, such as a panic button, an automatic alarm in case of a fall, and a cell phone right on the person’s wrist. It is also water resistant, so it can be worn at all times. We have found this to be the very best protection for our residents, any time of day or night.
